How do we get you from where you are now to where you ultimately want your life to be?

1. Financial Life Plan

  • Big Picture
  • Holistic
  • Always connected to the ultimate goal: The Life You Desire.

2. Process-Driven

  • The journey is as important as the decision.
  • Every financial life planning relationship begins with three meetings, followed by more depending on the complexity and needs:
    • First Meeting – Fit Meeting: This is when we listen to you about your needs and goals and we share with you our processes. If we both determine we are the right fit for each other, then we gather information during the rest of the meeting and before our next meeting. We also know that oftentimes you call us to address a specific need, so we will make sure to address this before or at the beginning of our next meeting.
    • Second Meeting – Financial Life Plan Presentation: This is when we present our recommendation on how you can go from Point A (where you are now) to Point B (your life goals). We discuss the necessary steps to take, both in the short and long term, in order to implement and succeed with the plan.
    • Third Meeting – This is when we sign paperwork in order to put your plan to work.
    • Fourth Meeting & Beyond: Depending on the complexity of your plan, it may take a few more meetings. Nonetheless, we will meet periodically to check-in with you and update the plan.
  • Like pilots and surgeons, systematic checklists are in place to make sure we stick to the right path.
  • Like exercise and diet, there are no magic pills, but instead it is our habits and behaviors that determine our outcome.

3. Transparency

The first consultation is a Fit Meeting which entails no cost. If both you and our team determine that we are the right fit for each other, then the cost structure is as follows:

  • 1.25% on first $500,000
  • 1% on $500,000 to $1 million
  • 0.80% on $1 million to $5 million
  • 0.60% on above $5 million

This covers financial life planning, insurance planning, investment planning, retirement planning, tax & estate plan document organization, risk management, investment management, budgeting, and other issues related to personal financial planning. The underlying investments (mutual funds, ETFs, etc.) contain their own additional costs; we do not have a conflict of interest and do not receive additional compensation based on the mutual funds and ETFs we recommend. There are no transaction fees. Fee structure is subject to change with notice. Current clients can refer to the costs listed on their applications and addendums.
